v) Provision of barricading for upcoming recycle water treatment plant at loco
cleaning shed.

Fencing has been provided for the water treatment plant at loco cleaning shed by shed
staff.

vi) Provision of two wheeler parking for DLS MLY employees.

Consequent to the dismantling of the existing parking area inside the shed, new two
wheeler parking space has been developed through “SHRAMDAN” by the shed
employees by fencing the area underneath the Moula-ali fly over adjacent to the shed
entrance which can accommodate for 500 vehicles without incurring any expenditure.

3. Expenditure Control measures:

 Proactive approach of Shed Staff and Supervisors to take up additional Work
Load:

o All the Annual maintenance Contracts and outsourcing contracts have been critically
reviewed.

o Appraised the financial situation prevailing over IR due to Covid-19 pandemic during
meeting with In-charge SSEs and representatives of Trade Unions and decided to
cancel the following contracts till March 2022 by motivating our shed staff to take up
the additional task.

o The works will be reviewed on quarterly basis whether can be continued with our
staff or to be outsourced.
