B. MECHANICAL (POWER)
1.0 Brief description: Mechanical (power) organisation is functioning under the control of
Sr.DME/HYB with 3 Crew depots (KCG, NZB and GWD), one running room, 3 Rest Rooms
and one RCD at KCG.

1.2 Combined crew booking lobbies:
Crew booking lobbies are available at KCG, NZB and GWD.
Computerized booking of Loco Pilots and Guards are combined at all the lobbies.
All the 3 lobbies are renovated and provided with furniture, amenities like Water
cooler with R.O system etc.
Self-evaluation software like “Gyan Deep” made available for the purpose of educating the
loco running staff.
Crew Management System developed by CRIS/New Delhi was commissioned in the
lobbies (KCG, NZB and GWD) in the division. CMS terminal was provided at KRNT
100% CMS w.e.f., 01.10.2014.
All the CMS Kiosks are integrated BA system and Webcams for the crew to undergo BA
test during sign ON and OFF.
