Some found it by telling Stories in a new way, They all tried to find their streaks of color amidst
Some found it by laughing with their loved ones in the dark clouds…
a long time, The one that ravaged saw no boundary,

Some found it in Rhythm, some found it in Art No religion, no gender, no class, no caste and no
And some by letting their minds be still. identity.

They all looked for streaks of color amidst the dark The one that ravaged taught us to preserve our
clouds… Humanity, to restore our Compassion, to value our
Freedom, to cherish our smiles and
It was supposed to be Spring,
To realize we were in this as one and that
The cacophony of birds would have filled the air,
We had to fight it as one!
The laughter of children rushing back from schools
          would have resounded the evenings,
The streets would be filled with people, and cars And then they said…
and chatter and bonhomie, This too shall pass,

The flowers would be blooming, New buds would And when the dark clouds do pass
be sprouting, We will cheer for the rainbow together
Instead...it was all eerily still. As one race!

But then, they learnt to listen to the silence within, As one people!
They learnt to listen to the voice of the voiceless, And as one world

And they learnt to listen to the song of hope.
