31 Health & Safety Notes:
First
Reverse up to the trailer and directly in line with the trailer
Collisions then stop short.
Slips Trips
and Falls Note a. Apply the vehicle handbrake, turn off the engine, and
use 3 points on contact to climb out of the cab, close the
door and ensure you are wearing the correct PPE.

Note b. It is extremely important that the trailer brake is
checked and is in an on (pulled) position.

32 Health & Safety Check the height of the trailer eye (below) in relation to the vehicle coupling height
First and adjust its height if necessary.

Collisions
Check the coupling lever is in an upright
Slips Trips
and Falls position.
