Loading the Trailer:

The Driver is to now confirm to the loader that the trailer is

ready for loading.

“This signal for loading the trailer is between the loader and the Driver Handbook 2023

truck driver and this should be clearly understood during the

driver's onsite induction when he/she has arrived on site”.

The driver can now monitor the vehicles weight being loaded into the trailer from the vehicles in-cab

weigh device. The monitoring of the in-cab weigher can be read in the driver's handbook.

During the loading process the driver should signal to the loader (“With the agreed signal, in the
onsite driver induction”) to move down the trailer whilst evenly distributing the load within the

trailer. This will prevent any single axel from being overweight.

On completion of the loading process or RASSoW15Q
reaching the vehicle GWV the driver is to Walking Floor Operations

signal the loader to stop

loading the trailer.
