MY JOYSELYN’S LAST HOSpITAL vISIT

Dec. 19 , 26 ,2019
It was maybe 5:30 - 6:00 in the evening. Joyselyn, for
most of the two days, had been feeling ill. Stomach
upset, headaches, and shortness of breath. Her
breathing got so bad that we called the local fire
department to see if they could treat her. They came
immediately, took vitals, and convinced us to go to the
hospital. I knew when we called an ambulance trip to
the hospital was bound to take place. Joyselyn fought
the idea, but we won, and off we went.
We had gone to Baylor Scott & White before with her
liver problems. We entered the ER, and after nurses
had taken vitals, they began a thirty-minute breathing
treatment; after completion, they were ready to send
Joyselyn home. I fought the ER doctor, and he finally
admitted her to a room. I planned to stay with her
