• And keep praying
Pray for a heart for new people who come into your sphere of influ-
ence, for how God would have you build relationships, for how God would
have you share your testimony and the story of salvation.
Remember: Many come to know Jesus through the prayers of others!
5. The peace path.
“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to
give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentle-
ness and respect...” (1 Peter 3:15).
• Look for an opportunity. The lack of peace is the most com-
mon problem in the world so look for an opportunity to explain how
you found peace. When someone says, “I’m upset,” “I worry,”“I’m
overwhelmed,”“I’m angry,” then …
• Ask … I have peace in Jesus. Would you like to know how I found
peace? Then …
• Tell … I would like to share the parable of the banker. It is a story
about how I found peace in Jesus.
Remember:
o The banker paid my debt and I have peace.
o The banker has extended this offer to everyone.
o There may be a limit to the resources of a banker but not to
the grace of Jesus (See 1 John 1:9).
o Jesus can forgive anything and all things. If you confess, Jesus
will forgive it.
• Memorize these verses:
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”
(Romans 10:9).
