Ask God for that extra encouragement when you feel you need it.
• Proper timing
Paul waited 10 years to leap into action—and there was a reason.
God was working in Paul, preparing him for his coming role.
You may be asked to wait, too. Embrace the opportunity for God to
season you and grow you up in ways you need to mature. Lean into the
learning. Be teachable, not disappointed or angry.
• Lay out a fleece
Judges 6:36-38 describes how Gideon tried to discern God’s will
through a distinct set of circumstances. In Gideon’s case, God accommo-
dated the request. He may be equally accommodating to you, too.
