“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these
things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33).
Seek first his kingdom: it’s easier said than done.
Sitting where you’re sitting in life right now, what’s your understand-
ing of what “seeking first his kingdom” means? And how do you think
you’re doing living it out? Why do you answer as you do?

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s
mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleas-
ing to God—this is your true and proper worship” (Romans 12:1).
It’s easy to say that Jesus comes first in our lives—and that’s what a
disciple is supposed to say.
But suppose you were arrested by the Priority Police and had to pro-
duce evidence to support your claim.
