Job Interview Question 72

What have you learned from all the different roles you've had?

This question is just as open-ended as “Tell me about yourself” and just as easy to make a mistake
with. When they ask you this, they do not want you to talk about a greater truth you learned or a lesson
that changed your life, and they really don’t want a long random list of everything you picked up here
and there.

Now is the time for you to talk about when and how you acquired the skill sets and experience
that make you a perfect fit for this job.

How have you developed professionally into someone they would be interested in hiring now for
this job?

It’s important that you be strategic and think about the best answer to this question for YOU.
Think about what in your background, experience, or skill sets is most interesting to this
employer:

What are the key requirements or competencies of this job?
What are the problems they need to have addressed and solved?
      What are their goals?
Use your knowledgeof what this employer is interested in tochoose things in your own

                                             background to highlight.
