What would you do if management made a decision you didn't
agree with?
Why would they ask this question? They ask it to see how you would react in a very difficult
situation. Would you make a fuss? Would you confront your boss? Would you organize a union and
overthrow the company?
Here’s an answer that shows you are a team player who respects the chain of command:
“If asked my opinion beforehand, I certainly give it, because it’s in my best interests to always
apply my best analytical and strategic thinking skills to my company and spot issues before they
become problems. If the decision has already been made, there’s nothing else to do but live with it. I
would assume they made that decision for a reason and I respect that.”
