Diversified’s Right to Monitor and Consequences for Misuse
All company-supplied technology, including computer systems, equipment and company-related work records, belongs to
Diversified and not to the employee. Employees understand the company routinely monitors use patterns, and employees
should observe appropriate workplace discretion in their use and maintenance of such company property.
Because all the computer systems and software, as well as email and internet connections, are the property of Diversified,
all company policies apply to their use and are in effect at all times. Any employee who abuses the company-provided
access to email, the internet, or other electronic communications or networks, including social media, may be denied future
access, and, if appropriate, be subject to corrective action up to and including termination, within the limitations of any
applicable federal, state or local laws.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Diversified's own best interest lies in ensuring fair treatment of all employees and in making certain that corrective actions
are prompt, uniform and impartial. The major goal of any corrective action is to correct the problem, prevent recurrence and
prepare the employee for satisfactory service in the future.
Although employment with Diversified is based on mutual consent and both the employee and Diversified have the right to
terminate employment at will, with or without cause or advance notice, Diversified may take corrective actions at its
discretion.
Corrective action may include a verbal warning, written warning, suspension with or without pay, or termination of
employment—depending on the nature of the problem and the number of occurrences. There may be circumstances when
one or more steps are bypassed. Management reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, the appropriate level
of corrective action in any given situation.
