one another, prioritizing the needs of our members and communities,
and aligning together towards the common goal of making MVCU
the best place anyone has ever worked or banked.

MVCU takes its role as a community credit union very seriously and
is constantly finding new ways to give back to the communities
it serves. MVCU is a longtime supporter of the Haverhill-based
nonprofit organization, Emmaus Inc., contributing over $500,000 to
the non-profit since 1996. The credit union also hosts annual Shred-
It days to provide members with a way to safely destroy documents
with sensitive information; annual food and toy drives to give back
to those in need; an annual charity golf tournament to raise money
for financial education programs, and sponsors numerous community
events throughout the year.

In 2022, MVCU became a sponsor of the Plymouth Public Library
Foundation and announced its plans to offer a free financial literacy
program for community members through the library. The program,
named Financial Edge, is in its final stages of development in
partnership with Banzai!, a national financial training organization
that partners with credit unions around the country. This new
program will help MVCU to sponsor financial education in schools
throughout eastern Massachusetts and with community partners
(like the Plymouth Public Library Foundation) throughout the region,
providing community members of all ages with the financial skills they
need to be successful.

MVCU will continue to be a very proud sponsor of the Plymouth
Public Library Foundation and the great work they do supporting the
Plymouth community through the public library.

MVCU makes its sponsorship of the Plymouth
Public Library Foundation official with a
$10,000 donation in December 2022.
