Branch, with scores being updated every Monday morning. It is our
hope that the winners will be announced during the annual North vs.
South Thanksgiving Game.
Team Captains for Plymouth North Team: Maureen Coleman, Circulation
Librarian and Bev Ness, Plymouth Public Library Foundation Trustee.
Maureen reports that she is excited this rivalry will get the community
involved and glad that we are creating a new reading program outside
of the summer one. Maureen adds that she is a “sucker for a little
competition and I think it will be cool to get the community involved in
a fall initiative.”
Team Captains for Plymouth South Team: Maddie Mahoney,
Children’s Librarian and Deb Etzel, Treasurer and Plymouth Public
Library Foundation Trustee. Madde reports that “Staff and trustees
are encouraged to participate! If a staff member does not have an
allegiance to a certain part of town, they may choose whichever they
wish to represent”.
Our team captains will be working hard to promote this challenge and
encourage participation. Staff will be planning a series of outreach
events throughout the challenge (including the first football games
of the season!) offering both library card signups and information
about the challenge so be sure to check out the calendar listing on the
Library’s webpage www.plymouthpubliclibrary.org
Along with the schools support we have partnerships with: The Town
of Plymouth, Books and Sundry, Pinehills, Redbrook, The Center for
Active Living, Clements Market and the League of Women Voters.
