2023 and Growing!

























     COMMUNITY GARDEN



       Did you know we broke ground this past fall for our first
       ever Community Garden? That’s right, the Library was
       awarded a federal grant via the Library Services and
       Technology Act (LSTA)  and staff, board members, and
       volunteers came together and worked alongside members
       of the Sheriff’s Department to construct raised garden beds
       and prepare them for spring planting.


       At the Plymouth Public Library, there are infinite ways to
       learn. The Community Garden takes a hands-on approach
       to important lessons about sustainability, healthy living, and
       stewardship for the natural world. We have programs for
       gardeners of every type and experience level, and we can’t
       wait to see you apply the knowledge you’ve gained in your
       own backyard or botany class.


       Not much may grow in the winter, but gardening is a year-
       long endeavor and learning will never end. We will have
       regular programming on how to maintain your own home
       garden in the winter, the art of seed-sowing, and how to use
       pole frames. And in the springtime, be sure to book your
