OKW’s TOPTEC enclosures
now in 28 permutations

OKW’s TOPTEC plastic enclosures
for PCBs with protruding connectors
and interfaces are now available in
28 different permutations. The
company says TOPTEC is ideal for
applications including monitoring,
signalling and control systems; medical and wellness devices; laboratory
technology; computer peripherals and IoT/IIoT. Installations are faster
because pre-assembled PCBs fitted with protruding connectors or
interfaces can be mounted directly into the case – with no need to wire
them in afterwards. The enclosures simply snap together (but for security,
a tool is needed to open them). These smart, modern ABS (UL 94 HB)
enclosures can be used for desktop, wall-mounted or DIN rail electronics.

to installing panel hardware

nuts and other loose parts. It seemed

comprehensive program of
enclosure/cabinet hardware without all the fiddling about. By connecting
ideas in a new way, the engineering team developed the Dirak-SNAP-
Technology (DST). The resulting system offers easily made high-strength
panel connections, without the use of any tools.

Clean, efficient and repeatable
dispensing of adhesive thread lockers

Henkel is continuously upgrading its engineering adhesives
to improve performance characteristics and extend their
scope of use, but the company’s ongoing development
programme isn’t solely focused on adhesive formulation.
Ensuring its products are applied in the most time and cost-
effective way is also important and the new Loctite Pro Pump
Dispenser for its thread locking adhesives is a good example
of developments in this field. The hand-held dispenser
provides clean and repeatable dispensing from any 50ml or
250ml bottle of Loctite thread locker.
