We are relentlessly marketed with commercials for pizza, fried chicken,
pasta, cheeseburgers, donuts, ice
cream, etc. and there is always a
little song or tune accompanied by
those commercials. So, we find
ourselves humming something that
turns into a subconscious addiction
and rightfully so, as it tastes just so
good. We are even being convinced
that to “eat fresh” means eating at Subway, when in reality, fast food
is putting people in an early grave.
Restaurants are the anchors in most shopping plazas and in every so-
called successful urban developed community. Fast food and just about
every major food chain are present. Eating has become such a part of
our culture and who we are, so much so that our subconscious tells us
it is time to eat, even when we are not hungry.
Think about the advertising panels and logos of McDonald’s, Burger
King, KFC, Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s, Pizza Hut, and dozens of others. What
do you find common among all these? One major similarity are the
colors that they use: Red & Yellow. Scientists believe that both these
colors have the ability
to encourage viewers
to eat. Also, colors are
the fastest mode of
communication to our
brain. Yellow is a
symbol of happiness,
excitement, and cheer
