                                                                                Leadership Forum

                                                                                In September the College helped to
                                                                                sponsor Elise Labuschagne and Kim
                                                                                Ho to attend the National Student
                                                                                Leadership Forum on Faith and Values
                                                                                in Canberra, meeting MPs from across
                                                                                the political spectrum together with
                                                                                young leaders focusing on social
                                                                                justice.  Both returned with a ‘key
                                                                                message that leadership is a means of
                                                                                serving others’ – something that Elise
                                                                                will bring to bear in her role as 2015
                                                                                Student Club President.

            It’s an honour

            JCH has always been well represented
            at the Dean’s Honours List Awards,
            and 2014 was no exception. Students
            receiving Dean’s Honours Awards
            included Jack Higgs, Matt Harper,
            Evan Cranney, Chloe Dallas, Michael
            Shearman, Whye Yen Tan, Shani
            Rajendra, and Kirsten Sugden.

            Since its inception in 2011 the ‘Winter
            Song’ exhibition has continued to
            flourish and change.  2013 was no
            exception, as the Student Club invited
            students and staff from Medley Hall
            to join with the College as the Dining
            Hall was transformed into a magical
            space for the sharing of music, poetry,
            literature and art.
