Gareth Jones (영국 웨일즈 출신의 파스텔화작가)
•Gareth Jones is an award winning pastel artist from Wales in the UK. A former graphic designer and illustrator,
Gareth only entered the world of fine art in 2010.
•Initially working in acrylics, he discovered the beauty of soft pastel in 2015 - and he immediately felt he had found
his 'true' medium.He now works exclusively in pastel and is primarily known for his dramatic and powerful paintings of
the sea and coast, but he also loves painting the beautiful countryside of his native North Wales.
•Gareth has exhibited in the Mall Galleries with The Pastel Society and The Royal Society of Marine Artists in London,
and his work features in many galleries and collections throughout the UK and overseas.
•Gareth has won several international awards. In 2020 he became an Associate Artist with Unison Pastels, and in
2021 was elected a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America.
