Greeting Remarks

With the year-end holidays approaching, 2023 is coming to close. For last three and a half years, the world of
culture and art had a very hard time with COVID-19. But now everything has got back to normal and K-ART
SHOW, the festival of the artists in the world is held from November 30 to December 3 in LOTTE Hotel Seoul
located in Sogong-dong.

K-ART SHOW has the various artists including the national and international famous artist and is getting much
attention form the start. Especially, Myeong-Dong, Sogong-dong and Lotte Department Store in LOTTE Hotel
Seoul area is the center of Seoul and the shopping mecca foreign tourists visit every year. Theses places serve to
raise the Korean status of tourism.

I’d like to thank Director Kwon and the members of the operating committee for MIAF 2023 K-ART SHOW
SEOUL for their hard work to host it successfully. And I want to congratulate and thank the world-renowned
national and international with the great artworks.

K-Art SHOW will be the bridge connecting Seoul and Myeong-dong with New York, USA in the future. Most of
all, it will be the art show that helps Korean artists to enter the New York art market and New York artists to
enter the Korean art market.

I hope K-ART SHOW SEOUL is held with many visitors including art lovers and collectors. Also I expect it to be
such a successful art show filled with ‘sold out’ and cheers.
