Congratulatory Message, The Mayor of Yongin

Heartfelt congratulations on the opening of the “Journey into Imagination” special exhibition at the Kwon Sook-ja Angeli
Museum.

I also commend Director Kwon Sook-ja, curators, and all staff involved for their dedicated efforts in carefully preparing this
exhibition.

Art leads us to new worlds through the power of imagination.
“Journey into Imagination” is a meaningful collaboration between the Kwon Sook-ja Angeli Museum and the International
Contemporary Art Museum, representing a noble attempt to enable more people to enjoy culture through artistic exchanges
across regions.

Participated by artists from 33 countries and local artists, this exhibition, featuring diverse works such as paintings, sculptures,
and installations, will surely deliver profound inspiration and emotion.

Reflecting on the 10th anniversary of the Kwon Sook-ja Angeli Museum, I hope this exhibition will serve as an opportunity to
open new possibilities for regional culture. The city of Yongin will continue to provide ongoing support and efforts.

Once again, congratulations on this special exhibition, and I wish it becomes a precious time that brings inspiration and heartfelt
emotion to many visitors.
