나의 그림은, 투쟁이다.
어지럽고 복잡한 세상,
해부하여 들여다보는 차가운 칼날이다.
순응하라, 복종하라, 요구하는 세상,
고개 들어 정면으로 마주하는 불빛이다.
농담인 듯 진담이 된 소소한 즐거움의 인생에 대해,
단 한번 뿐인 소중한 삶을 위하여
위대한 반란의 깃발 휘두르는,
나의 그림은, 그래서, 선동이다.
My paintings are a struggle.
The dizzy and complex world,
It is a cold blade that dissects and looks into.
The world that asks us to conform, to obey,
It is the light that raises your head and faces the world head on.
Against the life style of small pleasures that seemed like a joke but became serious,
For a precious life that only lasts once
Brandishing the great banner of rebellion,
My paintings are, therefore, inciting.

나의 그림은, 희망이다.
좌절케 하는 세상에 대한 유쾌한 반역,
혼란스럽고 모순된 현실에 대한 투명한 각성,
인간적인 모든 것에 대한 사랑과 연대,
나의 그림은,
아름다운 삶을 꿈꾸는 나의 속마음이다.
My painting is hope.
A cheerful rebellion against a frustrating world,
A transparent awakening to the confusing and contradictory reality,
Love and solidarity for all things human,
My picture is,
This is my innermost dream of a beautiful life.
