C. Accountabilities and Responsibilities of Faculty, Staff, and Officers
Discipline starts at home. In school, it is manifested first in the classroom
with the Homeroom Adviser and Subject Teachers as the sources of
information and as the key implementers of the concepts and guidelines. The
Principle of 3 Rs (Respect, Responsibility, and Relationship) is followed in
the campus.
The school officers, faculty and staff make sure that the implementation of
the discipline guidelines is the same for all students in all levels. The
Discipline Board is convened to deliberate on sanctions for major cases.
Since we are an academic institution, it is imperative that our school remains
true to its purpose. Teachers, staff, and officers must help in maintaining the
academic atmosphere.
Disciplining students is not confined within the four walls of the classroom. It
extends beyond the school premises and in other places where school
functions and activities are held.
D. Student Code of Conduct
The term “student” refers to an individual whose records are maintained by
SISC and who:
is enrolled in or registered with an academic program of SISC College
Division, High School, Grade School, Preschool, or International
Baccalaureate Program; and/or has completed the immediately preceding
semester or term and is eligible for re-enrolment, including the break between
academic terms.
Southville International School and Colleges has an obligation to maintain
conditions under which the school can work freely, in accordance with the
full recognition of the rights and privileges of all concerned as well as the
responsibilities and accountabilities, of those who comprise the Southville
Community.
