13 tardiness Poor (P) in the punctuality component of Deportment;
and in the Character (B1) component of the
Schoolwide Learner Outcome (SLO) equivalent to a
major offense.

Note: LA or P grade in Deportment disqualifies a student from the honors and
Values Excellence award.

Other possible interventions:
 Counseling
 Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC)
 Half-day community service on a Saturday

c. Cutting Classes/Truancy

The school does not allow cutting class or truancy and considers this as a
major offense.

Other circumstances that are considered cutting class/ truancy:
 Going out of the classroom without a valid pass (Transit or Emergency);
 Going out during Homeroom period without a valid reason;
 Deliberately not attending assemblies

d. Leaving the Campus during Class Hours (This applies only during Face
to Face mode of learning)

No student is allowed to leave the school campus during class hours without
prior written permission from the Deputy Principal/Principal.
A student who has been allowed to leave the campus during class hours only
under any of the following conditions:

 Sickness as diagnosed/recommended by the School Doctor or Nurse. A
student is marked absent in the class record and will not qualify for Perfect
Attendance Award.
