Note: Attendance will be checked every day during the virtual homeroom
period with the class adviser and the whole class. Attendance is also checked
through responses to emails, discussion board postings, assignment
submissions or if students respond to course requirements by the day and time
established by the teacher.

b. Tardiness
Students who arrive in school after the start of specified school hours will be
marked late in the attendance record of the Homeroom Adviser. They are
expected to submit a letter from their parent/s stating the reasons for the
tardiness.
The school authorities will determine if the reasons for being tardy is valid
and excused.

 All students are expected to be inside their homeroom class link in time for
the Homeroom period. A student who arrives in class beyond the check-in
time will be marked late in the attendance record/ Student Attendance
Monitoring Sheets (SAMS).
 A student who arrives at 10 AM will be marked half day absent and will get a
class ticket;
 A student who arrives at 1 PM will be marked the whole day absent.

1 tardiness Parent/ guardian will be informed

2 tardiness Conference with the parent/guardian

Low Average (LA) in the punctuality component of
8 – 12
Deportment; and in the Character (B1) component of
tardiness the Schoolwide Learner Outcome (SLO)
