at-will and may be terminated at the will of either the Company or the employee. Your status as an “at-will” employee
may not be changed except in writing signed by you and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company. This

the at-will nature of your employment.
LET’S COMMUNICATE
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS PHILOSOPHY
Footprint is dedicated to continuing what we believe to be an excellent employee relations program. We will do our
best to maintain good working conditions, competitive wages and benefits, open communications, and employee
involvement. Since our beginning, our Company has earned an excellent reputation in our industry. We know that
our reputation is a direct result of the loyalty, commitment, and continued efforts of our employees. We will continue
to look to you for ideas about how to improve all areas of our business -- in areas like customer service, safety,
efficiency, and employee relations.
We sincerely believe that a crucial part of our success, and of the job security for all of us, is in maintaining
cooperative and harmonious relationships between the Company and all employees.
VOLUNTARY OPEN-DOOR POLICY
Communication is extremely important to the growth, success and well-being of our employees and the Company.
Footprint’s Voluntary Open-Door Policy is a commitment to all employees that each employee will have the
opportunity to express job-related concerns and have them addressed by leadership.
Employee concerns may be addressed through open, honest, and direct communication between you and your
immediate supervisor. However, at times you may feel your concern either deserves further management review or
you may believe it would be inappropriate or uncomfortable for you to discuss the concern with your immediate
supervisor. The guidelines below are intended to provide a communication channel for you to seek help. While it is
our goal to reach a resolution that everyone finds satisfactory, there is no guarantee in each instance that you will
be satisfied with the result; however, you will generally receive an explanation of the outcome.
Guidelines
At Footprint, we strive to ensure that every employee has the ability to express any concerns or complaints without
fear of reprisal or any other penalty. We do this in two ways. Our Voluntary Open-Door Policy encourages employees
to contact their immediate supervisor or another level of management to resolve problems and concerns or to provide
suggestions. It is important to note that there will be no retaliation or retribution against any employee who makes
good faith reports of their concerns.
One option for discussing concerns, complaints or suggestions would be for an employee to contact their immediate
supervisor. Immediate supervisors may be in the best position to know the facts related to the issue the employee
would like to discuss. However, employees are not required to discuss the matter with their immediate supervisor or
lead. Employees may also contact their Department Leader. Human Resources can assist you in identifying the
appropriate leader names and contact information, or with addressing your concern directly.
Footprint takes all concerns and problems that are brought to the Company’s attention seriously. We will work to
address your concern or resolve your problem as soon as possible under the circumstances. You are encouraged
to utilize this procedure without fear of reprisal.
