You might recognize him as Malik
Kafur in ‘Padmavat’, or Adil Khan in
‘Made In Heaven’. But this diverse
actor is a gift to cinema by the world
of theatre. Jim started his career in
theatre at a very young age, and is
now a prominent name in the
theatre scene. He has worked in
                                                   Rage Production’s, ‘The Glass
                                                   Menagerie’, Vickram Kapadia’s, ‘The
                                                   Merchant of Venice’, Kalki
                                                   Koechelin’s, ‘The Living Room’ and
                                                   performed his poem ‘Involuntary’
at NCPA (which you can look up on

                                                   YouTube).

“I am a product of theatre and
whatever I learned there helped me
emote in front of the camera.” Yes,
                        I’m talking about Hansa from
                  ‘Khichdi’. Before she debuted in

              Shyam Benegal’s ‘Kalyug’, she had
already made her mark in theatre. Her
                               performances have been
              impeccable, be it Gandhi, Masoom,
Bazaar, Sarkar, Wake Up Sid, or
                Ram-Leela. A truly versatile actor
who immerses herself in the life and
story of the character and does
justice to the script. I think we can
                               all agree we love Hansa.
