                                                      ZITHER
                                                      Another progeny of the string
                                                      family, Zither’s origin takes us to
                                                      ancient Europe. Its peculiarity lies
                                                      in the fact that it’s strings are of

                                                      the same length as the soundboard.
                                                      Placed on the musician’s lap, the
                                                      player uses their left hand to press
                                                      the strings while the plectrum is
                                                      worn on the right thumb and the
                                                      other fingers of the right hand strike
                                                      the contrabass strings.









                                           NYCKELHARPA
                        Having its roots in Sweden,
                      Nyckelharpa is a 12 stringed
             instrument akin to the present-day
              violin. Also called the key-harp, it
        has keys signifying frets, and strings
                 when struck by a bow, causes a
           built-in-reverb! It is tuned in such a
            way that when one string is struck,
             at least one other string resonates
                                                        with it.




                                                         GLOCKENSPIEL
                                                         A musical percussion instrument
                                                               having a set of tuned metal
                                                               pieces mounted in a frame and
                                                            struck with small hammers. The
                                                         glockenspiel, additionally, it is
                                                         usually smaller, and because of both
                                                         its material and smaller size is
                                                         higher in pitch. The bars are
                                                         arranged in two rows, the second

                                                         corresponding to the black keys of
                                                         the piano.
