CELLO HORN
Another self-explanatory title.The
sound created by bowing the strings
come out of the brass horn instead
of a traditional wooden body,
reportedly producing a sound
somewhere between strings and
brass.

OUD
An instrument having parentage
in the Arab, the Oud is an eleven
stringed instrument with its defining
feature being that it is fretless! It is

proclaimed as the “Sultan” or the
king of instruments, and is
regarded as the ancestor of the
European lute. The music is
produced through strings overlaying
the sound hole, thus connecting the
Oud’s short neck to its pear-shaped
body.
