UnitedHealthcare – Dependent Care Flexible

        Spending Account (DCFSA)

A Dependent Care FSA provides pre-tax reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses related to dependent care. It’s a great
option for employees who have dependent children under the age of 13 who attend day care, after-school care or summer
day camp, and/or provide care for a person of any age who is claimed as a dependent on the federal income tax return and
who is mentally or physically incapable of caring for himself or herself.
O Funds can be used to pay for child care for children under age 13 when they’re claimed as qualifying dependents.
But the savings potential isn’t limited to just child care. They can also cover care for a disabled spouse or dependent of
            any age.
O To be eligible for the Dependent Care FSA offered through your employer, you and your spouse (if applicable) must be
employed, or your spouse must be a full-time student or looking for work.

            1. The expenses must be for a qualifying person. See IRS publication 503 for guidelines.
