With the PPO dental plan, you may visit any dentist of your choice.
• Use the Advanced Search
Keep in mind; you’ll receive the highest coverage when you use an
option to locate a dentist
in-network provider. If you visit an out-of-network provider, you
will not benefit from discounted rates and will pay more out-of-
pocket for services.

There are thousands of general dentists and specialists to choose from nationwide. You can receive a list of
participating dentists online at www.metlife.com/dental or call 1-800-275-4638 to have a list faxed or mailed
to you. A dentist can also be found through MetLife’s Mobile App.
May I choose a non-participating dentist?
Yes. You may select the dentist of your choice. However, if you choose a non-participating (out-of-network)
dentist, your out-of-pocket costs may be higher
