LOVE LABAN 2 EVERYONE: PRIDE PH FESTIVAL -
PRIDE EXPO AND PRIDE FAM

Showcasing the economic potential of inclusivity, QC BPLD facilitated the participation of over
240 LGBTQIA+ and ally-owned SMEs in the Pride Expo and Pride FAM (Food & Arts Market) on
June 22, 2024. This dynamic marketplace generated ₱1,375,000 in gross sales in just one day,
underscoring the economic strength of diversity in business growth.

What made this initiative truly innovative was its integration of economic empowerment with
social advocacy. Rather than just celebrating Pride Month symbolically, QC BPLD created
direct economic opportunities for LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs, demonstrating how inclusivity can
drive tangible economic impact. This approach not only fostered an inclusive business
environment but also highlighted the role of local government in championing diverse
entrepreneurial success.

FIRST CLASS FACILITY: BPLD
BUSINESS ONE-STOP SHOP (BOSS)

To further enhance efficiency and customer experience, QC BPLD worked doubly hard in
improving its physical Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) with modern innovations. The
upgraded facility provides a more spacious, comfortable, lounge-type facility coupled with
technologically advanced environment for business transactions.

The transformation of BOSS goes beyond standard process improvements. By introducing an
automated queuing system, integrating advanced technology at every counter (desktops and
tablets screen mirroring), implementing real-time photo capturing for applicants, and even
offering complimentary brewed coffee, QC BPLD redefined the government service
experience.
These customer-driven innovations establish Quezon City as a trailblazer in providing
efficient, welcoming, and user-friendly public services.
Quezon City’s commitment to EODB through innovation is a testament to the power of
strategic transformation in public service. By embracing digitalization, streamlining
processes, and prioritizing stakeholder engagement, QC BPLD has established itself as a
