2.2. GuardII+ EV Card Accessories

The installation of a GuardII+ EV card requires some accessories in addition to those
needed for the GuardII+ Series 4208 Platform and other monitoring technologies. The EV
card installation kit includes:

1 GuardII+ EV Card 1 This may include connections for other
monitoring technologies.
If purchased with a new GuardII+ system, this
will be pre-installed in the enclosure.

The following items are also required for the installation but are not provided in the
GuardII+ EV card installation kit.
• EV accelerometers, Termination Boxes, and connection cables. These will be
included in the appropriate sensor installation kits.
• Conduit and fittings

• Assorted tools

2.3. Computer Requirements

GuardII+ requires a computer for configuration. Once the monitor is running, a computer
can also be used to download and store measurement results. Refer to the GuardII+ Series
4208 Platform User Manual for computer requirements.
