Introduction
NOTE:
An EV card may also contain additional connections for monitoring
magnetic flux and/or shaft voltage and current monitoring.
This manual only contains detailed information on GuardII+ EV monitoring;
for details concerning the GuardII+ Series 4208 Platform, a different
monitoring technology or sensor installations, refer to the Manuals for
those components.
1.2. Features
• Accepts signals from Iris Power LP EVA sensors and/or equivalent third-party
accelerometers
• Simultaneous analysis of up to 32 endwinding vibration axes in any combination of
dual-axis and/or single-axis sensors
• Any pair of axes can be ‘linked’ for combined vector analysis
• Shaft trigger input for synchronizing data collection to trend phase changes
• Analyze measurements and trend at different operating conditions for a more certain
prediction of stator endwinding vibration conditions
• Perform a spot measurement, or automatically acquire and store results for up to 2
years without User intervention
• Triggers that store measurements based on Operating Conditions and specific EV
patterns
• Integrates with the GuardII+ Series 4208 Platform Alert relay contact to alert the User
• Built-in outputs for running measurements to test hardware functionality
