GuardII+ Flux Card Operation
NOTE:
When a GuardII+ cannot analyze flux data, it does not necessarily mean
that the monitor is malfunctioning. There could be signal quality and/or
configuration issues that prevent successful analysis. Refer to Section 7
for details on how to troubleshoot Flux signal problems.
Each load bin in the Archive matrix contains up to 100 measurements that operate in a
FIFO (First In First Out) fashion; for example, once 100 measurements have been stored at
st
load point 5, the 101 load point 5 measurement will overwrite the first load point 5
measurement.

Additionally, the first 100 measurements are saved, and then additional measurements
are only saved once per day per load point; these daily measurements are the first
measurements of the day at each load point. The 100-measurement count is restarted after
each download of the flux data or configuration of the flux system in the monitor.
When measurements are being saved in the Archive daily, a successful measurement has
priority over one that fails to analyze. For example, if all the measurements fail to analyze for
an entire day, then one of those will be saved; however, if all measurements for a day fail to
analyze except for one that succeeds, then the one that succeeds gets saved.
