but still do not produce any Archives, contact Iris power LP Technical Support for
assistance; advanced diagnostics (refer to Section 7.1.2) will likely be necessary.
7.4.2. Flux Termination
If the data acquired from the during configuration shows that no signals are present, or
that the signals are noisy, there may be an issue with the flux signals from the termination
box.
• Examine the flux and shaft trigger (if used) signals using an oscilloscope. Once the
traces are acquired, send copies of them to Iris Power LP Technical Support.
7.4.3. Alternate Monitor
If a second Iris Power LP instrument is available such as an RFA-II or a second GuardII+,
this can be used for validating that the sensors are working properly. Run a measurement
using the alternate instrument and compare the results to the GuardII+.
• If the results are similar, then both devices are likely working properly.
• If the results are significantly different, then there is likely a problem with one of the
devices.
