               3.2  Termination Box
               The coaxial cables from the EMCs and the twisted pair cables from the SSCs are routed from the sensors through the
               generator housing to a conventionally mounted termination box [Figure 21].  The cables are permanently secured to the
               back of the panel in the termination box as shown in Figure 22.  Within the termination box are protection spark gaps
               and resistors to enhance the collection of PD data.  For further information regarding the termination box please refer
               to the appropriate Iris Sensor Installation Guide.

               3.3  Data Collection
               Iris instruments fall into two major categories:  Portable  and
               Continuous.  Portable instruments are temporarily connected to
               the sensors and require user-intervention  to collect PD  data.
               Continuous systems,  Guards and Tracs, are permanently
               connected to the  sensors and provide both alarming capabilities
               and scheduled collection of PD data.
