In some cases, they were branded like the rest of
the livestock. It was the belief of their masters that they
weren’t human enough to feel the branding iron.
In the case of the blind man, a second touch was
required from the Master’s hand. After laying hands on
the man again, Jesus asked him, “Now, how do you see?”
The man replied, “I see men… As Men!”
“After that, he put his hands again upon his eyes, and
made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every
man clearly.”
