The strength and brightness of a light’s beam are
not tested in the open sunshine, but in darkness. You
can’t tell whether or not a light is shining bright when
the sun is shining strong and bright around you. It’s only
when the night comes or we find ourselves in a dark area
that we are able to test a light’s strength.

I suppose anyone can talk about how much faith
they have, and how strong they are in the Lord when
things are going well for them. But, the real truth is—

“You never know how bright your light
is… until the darkness comes!”
