Now where do I actually practise the art of the "big eat"? Most of my top choices are in
the 6 arrondissement. L'INATTENDU is currently my top choice, run by a fellow that
                     th
used to be a nurse but changed metiers to restaurant chef after winning the master chef
concourse in 2013. As the name of the restaurant implies, one doesn't know what will
be on the menu on any given day. It depends on the market (not the stock market but
the food market) and his own whims.

Another of my top choices is restaurant PY named after Chef Pierre (Français) and his
wife Yuko (Japanese). The cooking comes out bilingual with the French side
dominating. Do order fish at Py, the coquille St. Jacques being a good choice right now.

                                                                         th
If you are a fan of steak tartare, try LE TIROIR in the 9 arrondissement.
Good eats are not confined to restos. I am a big fan of raw oysters and I head to the
oyster bar MERLE in Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse when I am in a crustacean mood.

                                                                   th
CHOCO---BERNACHON, of course, also in the 6 arrondissement.
Salmon means MAISON ROLLE to me.

               Happy eating to everybody.
