Heart disease is a leading cause of morbidity
and mortality in the world. Our cardiology and
cardiothoracic surgery teams provide state-of-
the-art cardiac care and introduce cutting-edge
procedures and technology each year.

We have recently begun to implement a number
of novel transcutaneous procedures, in certain
cases obviating the need for cardiac surgery. New
electrophysiology procedures initiated in the past
year are already saving lives.
