Method
Wash, peel & dice all vegetables.
Fry beef in hot oil then set aside. Add vegetables & garlic to the same pan and fry.
Add the meat back to the pan and cover with water.
Simmer until the meat is tender.
Add gravy mix to thicken slightly add 10g herbs and season to taste.
Rub flour and margarine together and add herbs, Mix in a little cold water to form a soft dough. Roll dough to approx 1.5 cm and cut approx 5 cm rounds.
Arrange the scone dough on top of the gravy mix, brush with a little milk, Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes until risen and golden brown Gas 4/180°C.
