                       Method
 Preheat the oven to Gas 4/180°C and grease a suitable baking tray.
 In a mixer, beat the sugar and margarine until pale and creamy.
 Slowly beat in the eggs.
 Zest the lemons, squeeze the juice and set aside.
 Add the zest, flour & baking powder to the mixer and mix well, add the milk if required.
 Bake for 35 - 45 mins.
 Mix the lemon juice with the granulated sugar and pour over the warm cake. Leave to cool.
