               completed on October 14, 2009 with the signing of Republic Act No. 9720 into
               law  entitled  “An  act  Converting  the  Ifugao  State  College  of  Agriculture  and
               Forestry and All Its Existing Campuses Located in the Province of Ifugao Into A
               University To Be Known As The Ifugao State University And Appropriating Funds
               Thereof”. IFSU has six campuses, namely: Lamut (Main); Lagawe; Hapao; Potia;
               Aguinaldo and Tinoc.


               The BSIT course was approved last March 18, 2002 during an Academic Council
               Meeting and was implemented in School Year 2003-2004 at the Main Campus,
               Nayon Lamut, Ifugao. While in School Year 2004-2005, the BSIT program was
               also offered at Potia Campus, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.

               A  curriculum  revision  was  done  during  an  Academic  Meeting  on  April  2005
               based on CMO 59, Series of 1996 where in the revised curriculum took effect in
               the following School Year 2005-2006 . Another revision was made in October
               2006 based on CMO 53 Series of 2006 to improve more the curriculum and was
               implemented  for  School  Year  2007-2008.  With  the  presence  of  MR.  Sartaj
               Chopra, an Australian Youth Ambassador for Information and Communications
               Technology, another improved curriculum was made on September 29, 2010.

               By the middle of 2012, the Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State
               Universities  and  Colleges  conducted  (CARSUC)  the  “One  Region,  One
               Curriculum Policy” or “Curriculum Amalgamation”. The BSIT program was been
               represented by the College Dean during the Regional Forum, SUC Presidents and
               other key officials from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) responded to
               the needs of creating a Unified Curriculum to all SUC’s in the region.



               As it was presented, deliberated and reviewed during Academic Council Meeting
               together with the entire faculty, consultants and other stakeholders participated
               in the critiquing and finalization of the curriculum. After series of presentations,
               the final revision of the curriculum was then presented to the Board of trustees

               for  the  Approval  and  Implementation.  Approved  as  per  Board  of  Regents
               Resolution  No.  257,  Series  of  2013  dated  March  12,  2013.  A  Harmonized
               Curriculum  of  Bachelor  of  Science  in  Information  Technology  (BSIT)  was
               implemented  effective  1   Semester  SY  2013-2014.  A  copy  of  the  policies  and

               guidelines of the curriculum was furnished to the Deans of colleges offering BSIT
               program for proper dissemination and implementation after its approval.



               From its humble beginning, The College of Computing Sciences grew up offering
               another program from the original offerings of BSIT and ACT programs adding
               the  BSCpE  program  during  that  year  of  2013.  Student  population  increases
               during that time having more than 230 students from its original 90 enrollees.



               Working closely to improved more its curriculum and delivery of education, the
               previous administrators work to improve the Computer Laboratory, applied for
               series of AACCUP accreditation, getting certified by the RQUAT of CHED, hiring
