EXECUTIVE COUNCILLOR’S REPORT
July 2020
There are many noteworthy events to report since our last reporting. A record number of state societies
attained the Honor Roll level during 2019, making it a notable year. State society leaders were offered
training at the convention. A new District meeting was scheduled and planned for the Western District
for 2020. An unforeseen pandemic changed the plans for the beginning of the new year.
It is always a delight to recognize the states for outstanding performance through the Honor Roll. The
Honor Roll and rebate status are summarized below.
HONOR ROLL: Successful completion of the basic requirements to maintain state society charters within
the established time frames earns the state society recognition on the Honor Roll for the year. 2019 was
a banner year as 37 of the 38 state societies achieved this benchmark, a level that has never been
reached before. The single society missing this mark was the Northwest State Society (WA, ID, MT). A
big congratulations to all of the AMT state societies meeting requirements for Honor Roll status in 2019
