There were 35 State Baskets and/or Gift Cards at the Welcome Party.
The new delegate meeting was well attended and was received positively.

Mentor Committee – Virgil Marchand thanked the members of the committee as well as those who,
although not on the committee, served at the table. The location of the mentoring table was excellent,
in the hallway leading to sessions, which allowed more interaction with the members. They received
their share of questions regarding locations of restrooms however, many of the questions were about
               the location of sessions.

Executive Director’s Report – Chris Damon gave an overview of his report on pages 87-89. He reports
things are going well at the brick and mortar office. Currently, there are 40 full-time staff. Finances are
steady and stable. Chris reported that nearly half of all for-profit trade schools have closed since 2010.
Recently ECA abruptly closed their schools which enrolled at least 20,000 students. They previously sent
their students to AMT for certification so their abrupt closing will affect AMT financially, by as much as
$200,000 during the current fiscal year. Total membership is approximately 86,000.

President’s Report – Jeannie Hobson, RMA, RPT, AHI, directed members to her report on pages 14 and
               15. She offered a summary of her report and thanked AMT members and Board of Director members for
having confidence in her leadership. She thanks all the state society members, as well as our state and
national committee members/leaders. Jeannie outlined some of the highlights of our past year.

               Town Hall Session

Jeannie Hobson, President, called the Town Hall Session to order at 10:40am. She opened the floor to
               comments, questions and/or suggestions.

Tom Fish, MT (OH) donated two historic instruments for AMT’s archives: a Haden-Hauser hemoglobin
               cytometer and a hemocytometer.

Alice Macomber, RMA, RPT, AHI (FL) and Kathleen Daniels, MT (FL) presented a Quilt of Valor to Kaye
Tschop, MT (TN), in recognition of her 20 years of service in the US Army and 20 years working in the
               VA.
