               A motion to allow guests in the back of the room was made by Barbara Garrido, RMA (CO), Second by
               Peggy Oiler, MT (GA), motion passed unanimously.

               A motion to accept the agenda was made by Cyndee Carr, RMA (AR), second by Peggy Oiler, MT (GA),
               motion passed unanimously.

               Minutes for the 2018 Annual meeting were presented by Deborah Westervelt, Secretary. She directed
               members to pages 7-13. She opened the floor for corrections or amendments.
               A motion to accept the minutes with corrections was made by Chantal Jordan, RMA, CMAS (GA), second
               by Sanda Jones, MT (KY).  Motion passed.

               Treasurer Ken Hawker, MT (UT) presented the treasurer’s report located on page 16.  Mr. Hawker
               reported a 2018 net increase of $ 348,894 over the previous year. He thanked AMT President, Jeannie
               Hobson, Chris Seay, AMT Vice President, and Chris Damon, AMT Executive Director for their help and
               assistance throughout the past year. Ken also reviewed the Audit Committee Report and Budget
               Committee Report on pages 17 and 18.

               Kim Cheuvront, PhD, MT, Judiciary Councillor, reviewed proposed bylaw amendments.  She explained
               there would be two separate votes – first, on the proposed amendments to incorporate the new
               Molecular Diagnostics Technologist (MDT) discipline into the membership and governance structure;
               and second, to provide for delegate representation by the Allied Health Instructor (AHI) and Clinical
               Laboratory Consultant (CLC) membership categories.

               Mary Burden, MT (OK) made a motion to adopt the MDT-related amendments to Articles III, IV, V, and
               VIII as presented on pages 60, 61 and 62.
               Second by Peggy Oiler, MT (GA)

               Upon discussion of Article III, Section 2, it was noted a technical correction to the proposed amendment
               is needed.  MDT needs to be added to line 7 – ‘Registrants in the MT, MLT, COLT... ‘followed by a
               comma. MDT should be added following MLT and prior to COLT.
               Rebecca Teves, RMA (CO) made a motion to amend the proposed amendment to Article III, Section 2,
               line 7 by the addition of “MDT” to the list of registrants, between “MLT” and “COLT,” followed by a
               comma.
