Ze’ev Nechama

Ze’ev Nechama (born March 3rd 1961) is the soloist for the bands EthniX
and Totobel.
Nechama was born in Jaffa and was raised in Chulon. Nechama has written
the lyrics for all of the band’s songs since its start, and the melodies in
cooperation with Tamir Kalisky, the keyboard player, who served in the army
with him. The duo writes for other artists as well.
Along with EthniX, Nechama contributed to the music revolution that
occurred in the mid nineties, which made the Mediterranean sidelines a
central style in Hebrew music. For the albums they have created with other
artists, they received three golden feathers from ACUM for original works.
Nechama’s hobbies are drawing and cooking. He’s a fan of Maccabi Tel
Aviv’s soccer team. Nechama is known for his love for animals. He
previously raised Piranhas and presently raises a Great Dane and turtles.
