Goldfish: Hello, who are you?
Hadas: I’m Hadas. And you?
Goldfish: I’m a goldfish.

Hadas: What, a real goldfish?

Goldfish: Yes, a real goldfish. You can ask
(for) three things. What will you ask (for)?
Hadas: First thing – I wish I won’t be late for
work. I’m always late.

Goldfish: No problem! As of tomorrow
morning, you won’t be late for work. You’ll
always arrive on time.
Hadas: Excellent, excellent! Second thing – I
wish my husband would cook me dinner. He
can’t [doesn’t know to] cook, and I always
cook.

Goldfish: No problem. Tonight [this
evening], your husband will cook you a meal
and you won’t cook. What else?
Hadas: One more thing, right? Ahm… oh, I
know! I wish that the Beatles will play in
Israel!

Goldfish: But John Lennon is dead. How will
the Beatles play without John Lennon?
Hadas: I don’t know. You’re a goldfish, you
can do anything, no?
Goldfish: Not so much… I’m just a novice
fish. Ask for something else, okay?
