Onam Festival




       The  Onam  festival  is  an  occasion  for  people  to
       remind themselves of the presence of divinity and
       nature together. KG department celebrated onam
       on 07.09.22 - Wednesday. Management members,
       Principal  and  Coordinator  took  part  in  the  small
       Pooja before the function. Kids enacted the story of
       the  legendary  King  Mahabali.  The  different
       festivities during onam like pookolam, mohiniattam,
       kathakali, pulikali, kaikottikali dance, boat races etc.
       were the highlights of the celebration. The whole
       arena was colourfully decorated which was a feast to
       the eyes.

                                                              Janmashtami  on  18.08.2022  (Thursday)  at  SSVJ  Block



                                                              ground floor. Prekg Children enacted the various life
                                                              stages of Krishna such as crawling krishna, butter eating
                                                              krishna,  sand  eating  krishna  etc...  little  LKG  children
                                                              enacted  kalinga  nardana  and  little  radhas  of  ukg
                                                              performed a splendid dance performance in which the
                                                              10 avatars of Lord vishnu was depicted. Compering by
                                                              the UKG children was worth-mentioning.
             International Yoga Day 2022
                 International Yoga Day was celebrated with great
      enthusiasm and a passion in Shri B.S. Mootha Girls Senior
      Secondary School on 21st of June.  A speech was delivered
      by  the  venerable  Chief  Guest,  Mr.  Sugal  Chand  Jain
      emphasizing the importance of regular practice of Yoga in
      life in his address to the gathering.     Rhythmic yoga was
      performed by a few students of class IX and X std on stage
      for inauguration, followed by the students of class VI- VIII
      several  asanas  were  performed  by  the  students  of  all
      classes.    Warm-up  exercises,  Neuromuscular  breathing
      exercises, sitting and standing asanas, laying down asanas
      and  flow  asanas  were  performed.  The  students  were
      encouraged to practice yoga regularly to remain fit. The
      session concluded with a vote of thanks.
